Jessica Elizabeth Hanna, and her children, Heather Patricia Hanna and Benjamin Edward Hanna

Jessica Hanna, 34, born and raised in Memphis, Tenn., was a graduate of the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia.
She worked for St. Mary's Hospital as an RN for Home Health Care and as a Maternity Ward nurse. She and her family have lived in Oconee County for eight years. Heather was 3 1/2 years old and Benjamin was 2 years old. Survivors include: husband and father Jonathan Vincent Hanna of Watkinsville; mother and grandmother Patricia McGuire French of Farmington and father, the late Earl William French III; sister and aunt Stephanie Melissa Maddox and husband Anthony Brent Maddox, parents of Jessica's niece, Alison Melissa Morgan Maddox, of Dahlonega. Grandparent and great-grandparent survivors include: Marjorie Goforth Harris of Athens, Ga., Darold Edward McGuire of Memphis, Tenn.; Earl William French Jr. of Austell, Ga.; Rev. Paul Hawthorne Hanna and Sylvia Roberts Hanna of Gainesville, Ga; and many brother and sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins of the Hanna family.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 12, 2002 at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, 1211 Jimmy Daniel Rd., Bogart, GA. The Reverends Paul Hanna and Mark Fite will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
